OpenRTB for Native Ads

The mission of the OpenRTB Native Ads sub-committee is to standardize a specification as an extension to OpenRTB to support Native Advertising.

What is Native Advertising?

Native advertising is an online advertising method in which the advertiser attempts to gain attention by providing content in the context of the user's experience. Native ad formats match both the form and function of the user experience in which it is placed. (Credit: Wikipedia)

Sub-Commitee:

Objective:

The objective of the sub-commitee is to produce a draft of a complete spec to encompass the common features of Native Ads. This spec should follow as much as possible the VAST template, where the spec is described as a payload of the "adm" Ad Markup field of the bids in the response object.
